AME Church
The
history of the A.M.E. Church is distinct. It is the oldest
Black Christian
denomination in the U.S. and its history dates
back to the late seventeen hundreds. Our ministry is one of
liberation and reconciliation; liberation of persons; and the
reconciliation of man with God, of person with person, of person
to history and environment, and of community to community.
