"All persons coming to the church with a desire to realize the saving faith of Jesus Christ may become a member of Faith Community AME Church."

Our Statement of Faith

  Concerning the Bible

We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be inspired by God, and inerrant in the original writings, and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life.

  Concerning the Trinity

We believe that God exists in Three Persons, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

  Concerning God the Father

We believe in one God who is Creator of all that there is. God is Spirit, light, truth and love and thus He is unchangeable and infallible.

  Concerning Jesus Christ

We believe in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God who was manifested in the flesh. We believe that He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and that He died for our sins. We believe that Jesus Christ rose from the dead and ascended to heaven and was seated at the right hand of the Father.

  Concerning the Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Trinity and that He regenerates, indwells and sets believers apart to a holy life.

  Church Stewardship

Tithing is the official doctrinal stewardship position of Faith Community AME Church. From our study of God’s word and the unfolding revelation of His will we are bound to conclude that every member of God’s Church is a steward.
